Smoothies are a great way to consume your daily dose of fruits and vegetables in a tasty and enjoyable way. These are two amazing smoothie recipes that I make almost every day!

 

Blue Smoothie:

 

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk

 

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend (depending on your blender, you may need to stir, add a little more almond milk, and blend again).

 

Blueberries: Antioxidants, Potassium, & Vitamin D

Bananas: Vitamin C, Potassium, & Aids Digestion

Pineapples: Vitamin C, Aids Digestion, Antioxidants, & Anti-Inflammatory

 

Green Smoothie:

 

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup spinach
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • ½ cup vanilla almond milk

 

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend.(depending on your blender, you may need to stir, add a little more almond milk, and blend again).

 

Spinach: Iron, Vitamin K, Vitamin A, & Vitamin C
